T.D. JAKES CONFERENCE TO FEATURE SADDLEBACK CHURCH LEADER

A

You may recall that months before the ill-fated ecumenical Elephant Room 2 I began to warn you here at Apprising Ministries that ER2 co-hosts James MacDonald and Mark Driscoll would use ER2 to mainstream Word Faith mogul T.D. Jakes.

And even though James MacDonald Was A Bit Late In Mainstreaming T.D. Jakes, sadly, while at ER2  Jakes was allowed to affirm both trinitarianism and modalism simultaneously. MacDonald and Driscoll never did address Jakes’ Word Faith heresies.

Well, now it appears that all of this Jakes baggage is also fine by their fellow Evangelical Ecumenical Magisterium ((e.g. Evangelical Ecumenical Magisterium Member Steven Furtick With An Ode To Self)) member Rick Warren as well. You see, Jakes’ upcoming Branching Out (BO) conference has Word faith preacher Brian Houston of Hillsong Church,

BO will also be giving us the notorious WF royalty Frederick K.C. Price; and they don’t come anymore committed to WF heresies than Price. In addition, BO has many sessions and breakout sessions; one of these is Organizational Management for Music Leaders.

That particular breakout session features a leader from Rick Warren’s own Saddleback Church, (SC) John Cassetto, Global Worship Pastor at SC:

Jamar Jones is “Executive Director of Music and Fine Arts” at Potter’s House (PH) ((http://www.jamarjones.org/bio/, accessed 2/14/14.)) where T.D. Jakes is Senior Pastor. In the clip below Jakes introduces Jones ahead of a presentation by Dr. Phil:

It’s also important to note, as you can see below, that this conference doesn’t just feature modalist-trinitarian T.D. Jakes, it is being put on by him:

So, I’ll leave you with an example of Jakes’ evangelical leadership style in this clip from his New Year’s Eve 2013 message to his PH:

And we wonder, could we possibly see T.D. Jakes coming to Saddleback sometime in the near future…
