Among the issues Apprising Ministries covers is the heretical Word Faith (WF) movement as it heads toward acceptance within the mainstream.

Sadly, people Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen are tip-of-the-spear with man-centered self-esteem messages ala Robert Schueller, which they claim are given to them by direct revelation from God Himself.

So weak and in lust for the world’s approval is the heart of the visible Christian church that I’ve told you before even Word Faith Heretics Like Creflo Dollar Draw Nearer To Evangelical Acceptance.

If you think I overstate this, then I encourage you to make the time to check out Beth Moore To Speak For Hillsong Church. As a matter of fact, that the wildly popular SBC sponsored Bible teacher Beth Moore will be at that nefarious WF church is an indicator in and of itself of this copying acceptance.

Leaving that aside, therein you’ll see that her friend James Robison has featured Creflo Dollar many times already this year on his Life Today program. Now listen for yourself in the following video as Robison lavishes praise upon the infamous Word Faith prosperity preacher, who is himself a disciple of Kenneth Copeland:

Copeland is far and away absolute Word Faith royalty:

Let me quickly offer a couple examples further indicating that these phony prophets, who were once relegated to the very outskirts of Christendom, are people you’re going to have to become familiar with. Consider Word Faith Heretic Cindy Trimm Receives Award From Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Yes, you read that right; BGEA gave an award this past May to this WF spiritual snake oil salesman here below:

Then there’s leading Seeker Driven/attractional prophet-pastor Steven Furtick Calls Joel Osteen Great Man Of God and the cancerous fallout of Elephant Room 2. There, in my opinion, the pass given to Word Faith mogul T.D. Jakes in order to mainstream him further right into the heart of the evangelical community.

For example, Furtick is having Jakes in to preach this Sunday at his Elevation Church:

And of course  T.D. Jakes is quite excited for another chance to broaden his product base:

I also mentioned previously e.g. in Elephant Room 2′S T.D. Jakes’ Spiritual Daughter Paula White In The News that, even if we grant that Jakes is not a modalist, he still comes with a lot of WF baggage. Let me point out again here that it’s imperative you realize this is not “guilt by association,” it is quilt by endorsement.

For you see, it’s absolutely beyond question that Jakes mentored pastrix White, a real rebel against the Word of God. You should also know that Jakes is still quite involved with White; he was featured speaker for her in March of this year as you can see in T.D. Jakes Speaker This Month For Paula White’s A God Encounter .

Now you have the proper vantage point from which to survey this sector of the battlefield. Note that the Apostle Paul told Timothy to — Fight the good fight of the faith (1 Timothy 6:12); he did not say, “Take the long vacation.” Let me remind you of what T.D. Jakes’ spiritual daughter was up to in September of 2010.

In Sound The Alarm On Paula White I told you that she featured an up-and-coming new star of WF; a young man by the name of Yakim Manasseh Jordan. Jordan is the son of “Master Prophet” E. Bernard Jordan, whose latest book of mythology is called The Laws of Prosperity: Building a Divine Foundation of Success.

That sure appears to give us much insight as to where the hearts of the Jordan$ actually lie. The younger profit Jordan’s website bio boasts that he was:

Briefly, let’s note a couple of things here. First of all, Jordan clearly makes the claim that he has received personal revelation from God through “the leadership of the Holy Spirit” to form the very basis of his ministry and doctrine. Secondly, Manasseh Jordan supposedly operates within “the realm of accurate prophetic ministry.”

While at first sight that may sound impressive, we must keep in mind that the Bible informs us the ministry of the true prophet of the one true and living God is one hundred percent accuracy—period. Jordan’s bio also tells us he’s “currently based in Boston” and further that he enjoys a large platform and much financial success as:

Prophet Manasseh appears weekly on BET’s Morning Inspiration…he is an inspirational speaker, and entrepreneurial wiz…Through his speaking engagements, both nationally and internationally, Prophet Manasseh [has had] whirlwind success [which] is a direct product of the energy and ingenuity of the ambitiously motivated speaker, prophet, CEO – Prophet Manasseh is  the author of “The Art of Spiritual Protocol”. (Online source)

Christian Research Network contributor Crystal Whitt of the online apologetics and discernment work Slaughter of the Sheep keeps up with this Word Faith (WF) movement for us and adds in her piece Manasseh Jordan: Self-Promotion is the Key to Success:

The video [contained in her post] ends with a sober warning – “Coming to a city near you.” He’s not kidding.  His star is on the rise, and the church is ready for such a false prophet as him. I wondered what Benny Hinn would come up with when his star started to fade around the time of the Lakeland un-Revival.  Now I know. I’m just wondering how long it will take the monster he’s creating to eclipse him.

I see two possible scenarios if this kid continues his public rise: 1.) Jordan will outgrow him and have a booming ministry of his own, leaving Hinn behind, or 2.) Hinn will hold onto Jordan’s coat tails and ride the train for all it’s worth.  He already supposedly prophesied Jordan’s birth, by the way.  He’s not going to let go too easily.  This gravy train could be very lucrative…

As you can see below, the video was tweeted out by Jordan himself:

Below you’ll also see some examples of Jordan in action with Hinn. First, for years now my friend Bud Press over at Christian Research Service has closely covered the heretical Benny Hinn, who is beyond question among the highest WF royalty. Hinn is up there in the pantheon of WF stars with e.g. Kenneth Copeland and T.D. Jakes.

In his Manasseh Jordan: Imitating Benny Hinn Press tells us how much Jordan has been modeled after Hinn:

Someone once said, Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If this is true, then Benny Hinn may be grinning from ear-to-ear over his newest apprentice, Manasseh Jordan.

In the May 11, 2010 YouTube video below titled, It’s Time to Spread The Gospel Around the World: Prophet Manasseh Jordan, Manasseh:

•pushes people (like Benny Hinn).
•calls people out of the audience (like Benny Hinn).
•blows into his microphone (like Benny Hinn).
•slings an “anointed” coat over the audience (like Benny Hinn).
•stands on a chair in the audience (like Benny Hinn).
•speaks in “tongues” but has to use a foreign language interpreter during a service (like Benny Hinn).
•uses God’s name in a derogatory manner stating, “My God! I feel the anointing here!” (like Benny Hinn).
•conditions gullible people and deceives them into believing what he does is of God (like Benny Hinn).
•serves a counterfeit “Christ” the Apostle Paul warned about in 2 Corinthians 11:3-4

Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God (3 John 1:11).

Following is the promotional video clip of Profit Manasseh Jordan to which each above is referring:

In closing this, for now, below you’ll find out why there’s good reason for Benny Hinn to have much interest in the work of Profit Manasseh Jordan. Watch as Hinn claims that he actually prophesied Jordan’s birth, apparently as if Manasseh Jordan’s some sort of a special prophet along the order of a John the Baptist:
