SOME PRACTICAL EXAMPLES OF THE EGREGIOUS EFFECTS OF THE EMERGING CHURCH AND THE NEW EVANGELICAL RELIGION POSING AS CHRISTIANITY

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant. (2 Timothy 3:1-2)

The text I use has not seen its ultimate fulfillment, though we may be entering these times, however it has indeed been fulfilled many, many times. This site I refer you to was set up by self-appointed “watchers” (not the kind in the Highlander series) of an arbitrary category they use called “watch doggies,” um, well–specifically to *ahem* watch us.

In fact, Dan Kimball, a well known pastor in the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church, mocks those of us which they personally have decided should be thus relegated by saying it’s more like watch “poodles.”

As the writer of this post Some practical examples opens his pontification he says that Ingrid Schlueter of Slice of Laodicea is:

trying to place modern events into scriptural prophecy (dangerous, at best), and, secondly, has chosen a prophecied [sic] event which many scholars believe has already come to pass (which doesn’t prevent a second occurance [sic], mind you),…

Let me also point out that a lack of understanding prophesy also greatly irritated Christ Jesus when He walked upon Hs planet. I say that’s even more dangerous. And in a perfect example of the love of self–of man–in my opening text our writer says, “scholars believe,” blah, blah, blah. Uh-huh, and other scholars don’t believe, who cares? We must examine what the text says.

Then our writer shows his own arrogance when he falsely accuses one Christ Himself has sent forth as simply “calling himself a ‘pastor’” in my comment here when I am in fact one whether he likes it or not.

Now this false teacher is most certainly not someone I agree with. However, I present this for your edification because he is quite knowledgeable in the mistaken eschatology of the pseudo-Christian new evangelicalism currently swallowing up nearly spiritually comatose evangelicalism. Perhaps readers of SOL and Apprising Ministries just might feel led to make known your own views.
