This morning I received an email from “a pastor’s wife” asking if I was “nuts” for daring to criticize Steven Furtick in the piece Steven Furtick: Pastor With A Real Chip On His Shoulder at Christian Research Net, which is an outreach of Apprising Ministries.

As I told her the fact is this growing cult of church planters, with their neo-pietistic “gospel of the changed life,” is doing much harm to the advance of the actual Gospel of Jesus Christ. And as such she and her pastor husband may rest assured that CRN and AM will continue to oppose this false form of Christianity for as long as the Lord sustains us.

Along that line, and within this “church planter” group, comes this post from Tony Rose at GalatiansC4V16. Rose begins by informing us that:
