PROUDLY PRACTICING HOMOSEXUAL “BISHOP” GENE ROBINSON AND “PROGRESSIVE CHRISTIANITY”

But what I am doing I will continue to do, so that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the matter about which they are boasting. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.
(2 Corinthians 11:12-15)

What you’ll see in this first short video clip here at Apprising Ministries is the “Blessing given by the Right Reverend Gene Robinson, Bishop of New Hampshire, at the end of services at All Saints Church Pasadena on Sunday, July 15, 2007.” But what is missing from this call to social work and the whimsical warmed-over humanism in his “progressive Christianity" is the Cross.

And keep in mind, in spite of the warm fuzzies of man-love, this vile viper is a practicing homosexual; an apostate, and in willful and flagrant rebellion against the God he claims to represent. What you’ll also see here is a literal example and personification of the above Scripture as well as a fulfillment of the following–holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.

These are seducing spirits and spiritual harlots infiltrating the Body of Christ their doctrines of demons, in this case so-called progressive Christianity. And keep that in mind the next time you hear someone in the Emergent rebellion against the Bible refer to the emerging church and men like Rob Bell and Erwin McManus as leaders in the “progressive young church.”

I tell you in the Lord that the genuine Christian must now follow the rest of the above verse: Avoid such men as these. (2 Timothy 3:5)

And the following clips from an interview of “Bishop” Gene Robinson conducted by the BBC’s William Crawley do give us much insight into Robinson’s rejection of the historic orthodox Christian faith, his subsequent apostasy, his “coming out,” and into who Robinson really is.
