AN EMERGING CHRISTIAN MUSLIM PRIESTESS FOR ALLAH SAYS, “JESUS LED ME INTO ISLAM.”

Here’s some more on “Christian Muslim,” yes you read that right, Rev. Anne Holmes from Christian Post:

A Seattle priest has become a Muslim while also retaining her clergy status in the Episcopal Church. Her local bishop has described the development as “exciting.” “I look through Jesus and I see Allah,”… She has denounced Christianity as a “world religion of privilege.” But she still sees Jesus as her Savior, even if not divine, and plans to remain both a priest and an Episcopalian… (Online source, emphasis mine)

Let me set this straight: Men and women, absolutely no one can be a Christian and knowingly deny the Deity of Christ, for to do so is to deny the Master Who bought them (2 Peter 2:1). And make no mistake as Redding’s thoroughly apostate position is quite crystal clear:

I was following Jesus and he led me into Islam, and he didn’t drop me off at the door,” Redding told the “Episcopal Voice,” “He’s there too.” Making no effort to disguise its topic, the article in the diocesan newspaper carried pictures of both a cross and an Islamic crescent, with the headline, “On Being Christian and Muslim” (ibid.)

No, Jesus is NOT in Islam; He hates it. And Allah is certainly NOT the God of the Bible as I show you in Keeping You Apprised Of: Islam. And note also that her spiritually obtuse “Bishop Vincent Warner of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia told the Seattle Times that Redding”s embrace of Islam has not been controversial in his diocese.”

Did you catch that? The effect of the postliberal cult of the Emergent Church upon American Christianity is such that embracing two diametrically opposed faiths hasn’t even “been controversial” in her diocese. Well guess what, since I first covered this at Christian Research Net this sickening story hasn’t even been controversial to the Christian public at large either. Which is even more evidence of the fetid fruit of the egregious and ecumenical emerging church movement.

At Apprising Ministries I have been attempting to warn you that at the heart of this Emerging Church, which is not a move of the Holy Spirit, is the eventual bringing together of all religions. Here, you can see for yourself, if you’ll bother to make the time, in:
