But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. (2 Peter 2:1, NASB)

The Hour Is Late

As one begins to study the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church it will require thoroughly examining the issue of the alleged “spiritual disciplines” in the so-called “Christian” mysticism. What has now become known as Contemplative Spirituality is undoubtedly an integral part of this highly schismatic group which is now growing rapidly within the Ecumenical Church of Deceit (ECoD) of the new evangelicalism.

It is so vitally important to understand that the lateness of the hour necessitates a boldness and a frankness that is obviously unsettling for many. Because of the twisted tolerance now prevalent through the whining of leaders in the ECoD the Body of Christ now has a very hard time understanding this side of our Lord Jesus when He says – “Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?” (Luke 12:56)

I have been doing my best to write within the spirit of – If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18), and I am sorry that the type of research coming forth from Apprising Ministries is upsetting to some, but I do not apologize for the findings of the investigation itself. Those who cry that this work isn’t bringing “unity” among people who read it have apparently forgotten what Christ says prior to the verse of Luke quoted above:

“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law” (vv. 49-53).

Just as fast as one spiritual rock can be overturned under which men like Brian McLaren or his friend Living Spiritual Teacher Richard Foster are hiding then some other aspect of serpentine teaching comes scurrying out into the Light. The Church of our Lord has been hearing a clarion call to discernment for some time now, and this has even been coming from some of its more conservative and non-controversial leaders, so she truly has no excuse for allowing these emerging Hollow Men to continue leading people astray.

Yet here we turn around and Guru Brian McLaren is slated to be a speaker at General Session at the Zondervan National Pastors Conference 2007. Right now I continue to alert you to the reemergence of the Gnostic mysticism that has now arrived inside the walls of our Christ’s Church through the anti-Reformation practice of this Contemplative Spirituality. A secret, special “knowledge” for the spiritually “enlightened,” the very concept of which has already being condemned in first century Scripture such as the Books of Colossians and 1 John.

Meditation Leads To Counterfeit Unity

What is so critical to understand here is that those of various religious persuasions who have been dabbling in the practice of Contemplative/Centering Prayer, which is nothing more than transcendental meditation for the Christian, are all beginning to sound like each other in a counterfeit unity. And Lord willing as time goes on I will be showing you that, whether it’s meditation in so-called “Christian” mysticism, Sufi Islam, Jewish mysticism, or the warped spirituality of the New Age/New Light, the same false sense of God and love for mankind comes emerging.

At this point due to a misplaced and misguided form of tolerance there are more and more voices being raised shouting: “This is but guilt by association!” And if you are among those who happen hold this particular view then I have a good suggestion for you. Why don’t you make the time to take a trip to the local penitentiary. There after a little inquiry you will quickly find out how many are in fact incarcerated therein as the result of cases where they personally were also proven guilty of breaking the law through the associations they had made with others who were themselves guilty of committing crimes.

Today I encourage you to take a good hard look at the evidence that has been coming from other ministries long before the Lord raised up another critical work like mine here at Apprising Ministries. Men and women, please prayerfully examine this information which is readily available on the Internet for yourselves. I tell in the Lord this is a much better way than listening to phony charges that I am are taking the works of these people I am exposing out of context. For example to counter such foolish charges I offer Guilt By Association Or Guilty Associations.

The people today who participate together in seeking this special knowledge (gnosis) and direct revelation from God apart from the Bible through this Contemplative Spirituality are all coming to the same conclusions as those who taught various strains of Gnosticism before them. How tragic it is that we really have become so spiritually dull in the Christian community that we actually can’t see this. And if we don’t begin to make a stand against these modern Gnostics right now then we will only be able to stand by helplessly as a whole generation will be lost to spiritual deceptions which have already refuted within the Bible itself!
