Apprising Ministries presents this unsolicited piece from the AM Mailbag to give another example of the lack of critical thinking skills so many who wallow in the new evangelicalism and the Emergent Church exhibit.

Do they seriously think that what they derisively refer to as “fundamentals” are the only ones doing any alleged mocking? Um, yes…I’m afraid that they seriously do. But the point I am making below by reversing the argument is that Christians who stand for the genuine faith of Jesus Christ are now simply reacting to shots which were fired at us first:

Thank you for contacting Apprising Ministries. The title of your email says it “Makes Me Sick.” And you know; I agree, it makes me sick as well.

I sure wish the Emerging Church and men like Brian McLaren and Rob Bell and Doug Pagitt would stop their “mocking those in the Christian Community that are [sic] actually making a diference [sic] in society” like Dr. John MacArthur and John Piper.

We also agree because: “I am [also] sure they may be wrong about some things, but at least they are making a diference [sic].”
