Apprising Ministries has received a report that Doug Pagitt, a well known leader in the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church, has indeed joined the ranks of his friend Emergent Guru Brian McLaren by being “de-invited” to speak at a conference due to controversial comments. In the case of Pagitt this would be BSCNC’s Wired2Grow Conference October 16,2007.

We are currently attempting to corroborate this information. If it is indeed true, as of this writing Pagitt has not chosen to share it at either Doug Pagitt.com or The Doug Pagitt Blog.
