A thank you to Josh over at Truth Matters for making me aware of this video clip I placed below. It’s a response to Way of the Master’s interview with John MacArthur on the emerging church by 36 year-old Shane McGee of something called Fake Republic. McGee tells us he’s “a struggling follower of jesus christ” and that he’s “just finished a masters in applied theology and am now a full-time fake devotee!”

The quiet arrogance displayed here is ample evidence of the fetid fruit of the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church currently infecting your church’s youth group. These kind of men who are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth are the new fires of Molech that spiritually obtuse evangelical leaders are sacrificing your children to.
