DAN KIMBALL: THEY LIKE JESUS BUT NOT THE CHURCH

Pastor Eric, over at What We Have Here Is, shares his opinion about this recent work by Dan Kimball, a pastor in the emerging church:

Not only is this the title of Dan Kimball's latest book, this is an oft stated finger wagging chastisement of the church. The subtitle to Kimball's book says: "Insights from emerging generations."

But I'm wondering how "insightful" these insights really are? I'm not so sure I want to base my ministry philosophy on a "Jesus" that the "emerging generation" claims it likes - after all, has anyone bothered to find out if it's even a Biblical Jesus they're talking about?
