THE COMING DIVISION WITHIN THE IDOL OF EVANGELICALISM
Men and women, hear me, and hear me good. The time has come in the American Christian Church for division; a reformation every bit the same as when Luther stood hammer in hand. Someone must arise and say that there is no way to harmonize what you will hear in the following sermon from Dr. John MacArthur with the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church, which is right now swallowing up man-loving semi-pelagian evangelicalism.
Know this, there can be no compromise with men preaching apostasy such as emerging church human potential advocate Erwin McManus Emergent rabbi wannabe Rob Bell and his highness Rick Warren the Purpose Driven Pope. And tragically going unnoticed within evanjellyfish right now is what can only be called The New Downgrade No-Controversy.
In my piece The Idol of Evangelicalism, written at Apprising Ministries August 30, 2006, I said: "we are witnessing a sad state of affairs in that the Christian Church in the United States has erected a 'thing,' an idol they have called evangelicalism." Well, I for one want nothing to do with this damnable and despicable religion currently passing for the genuine Christian faith, and especially so as it begins to fully embrace apostate Roman Catholicism as a "Christian" tradition.
I'm so very thankful that the Lord happened to lead me across this post Pope and The Papacy last night. I commend The Borean for placing up the link (here for Pt One and here for Part Two) to this excellent and prophetic sermon by Dr. John MacArthur, a real man of God, which had been replayed on Way of the Master Radio.
And as I just told WOTM, in the midst of the cacophony ensuing in the many spiritual firefights those of us in Special Ops must engage in during this Truth War, we who work largely unnoticed so often look back to ministries like theirs--and that of Dr. MacArthur--for our balance, and to remind us that we are not alone. Soli Deo Gloria; let us ride to the sound of the enemy guns!
